This year, the advanced Diploma felt like it took forever, We started in a world that is still confused from COVID-19 and managed to come to school and complete our work. During this time, I was working two jobs as well as doing full-time uni. As a result, I had to sacrifice some of my time in school to make money so then I could afford to be in Japan. I was literally busy all the time in my free time. I would spend my time wasted playing video games. But I guess this was a nice vacation for me from the extremely busy life I was living. Now that I'm in the country that I wanted to be in that entire time, I find myself using my free time to create content and apply for other editing jobs. I learnt a lot during my two years of uni and I feel as though I've been able to apply that to my current work.

A little about the film. This film was based on an actual interaction that I had as a sales assistant in a certain Australian internet and phone sales company. Of course it's been edited and changed for the sake of entertainment, but the general character that you see on the screen is very representative of the person that they were in real life. if I had more time to do this or if I could do it again I would spend a lot more time workshopping the script with my actors and breaking it down into segments which would allow me to furthermore create the fuel that I was going for however I’m not entirely disappointed with the results and I feel as though it will teach me lessons for the future.

Stay tuned for some future projects. I have a few edits in the works right now. And a certain trip that is coming up I'm sure there will be cool content from a variety of places.

I've had the opportunity to edit for a few different youtubers in the past. MattvsJapan, JimmyTheGiant being two of them. However I think this chance to work alongside BTMC to create a project was a great chance to work with a channel I have been keeping up with for over 5 years and has influenced my direction in life quite dramatically. In some weird way, osu! Rythm games and Ed himself are huge reasons I am currently living over in Japan. So without further ado, if you would like to see my collaboration with these guys, check out the video here!

side notes.

  • somehow the video glitched and the initial one was 8 minutes of nothing before the video started. My copy is fine so I don't know how that happened :(

  • RIP second Mrekk score PP counter wrong

  • RIP subs at the very end I have no idea what happened there

  • Please forgive me.

also if Ed and the team are reading this. Sincerely,

Thank you.
